2023 has briefly been left behind as the new year has begun full of promise with fresh opportunities for all. Nevertheless towards the end of the year we witnessed the release of some very special tracks such as the mighty "Passengers", out on "Auditory Recordings", owned and operated by none other than singer/songwriter and DJ/Producer "Linnea Schossow". For the label's final sendoff to 2023 it was only fitting to put together something extra special to commemorate it. For this purpose she welcomed back undeniable talented DJ/Producer and longtime friend "Orla Feeney" for a killer collaboration between the two. Both of these talented artists have proven themselves time and time again, gradually ascending that never ending ladder of success in the dance music world. Both household names, it is no small wonder why a release such as this would bring endless smiles to the lips of dance music lovers all over the world! "Passengers" contains all the right elements needed to attain future anthem status!
We are instantly greeted by pounding basslines, euphoric synths and an assortment of female chopped vox which float in and out of the mix as if flying carefree on the vast current of the phrenetic energy barely contained within. Like a swift wind soul piercing female vocals make their appearance, drenching the tune with an emotional downpour. A breakbeatish groove formulates, attaching itself like glue to the mix, kicking things into a higher gear as we are surrounded by all elements in perfect harmony. The break arrives in due time, allowing Linnea a chance to give it her all, paired up quite beautifully with meticulous serene melodies thus building on the emotional tension. The tune begins its well awaited release, blowing us away with its power and sheer determination, which is embodied tightly within, while the scorching leads leave nothing laying in their path!
One of the most special releases of the year, one that contains the fire and passion these two talented artists have shown in their career! Familiar with both artists' sound this one is a perfect melding of their ideas,creativity and abilities! Drive, determination and drenched in emotion, all this in just one tune!
