One of the most influential DJ's and producers out there right now is most definitely Ireland's pride and joy "Maria Healy". She attains an incredible amount of raw talent, fresh ideas and a passion that burns bright for dance music, Maria has won over the hearts of many of the trance music faithful. Over the years she has played at some of the finest events around the globe such as "Luminosity", "Liberation" and "Dreamstate" among many others. As a producer many of her productions have grasped our hearts with tracks such as "Option 66", "Kismet", "Clouds" and "Dreamer". One of her new tunes found its way to Egypt's phenomenal duo "Aly & Fila's" label "Future Sound Of Egypt" once more. "Blush" is the name and it is guaranteed to fill your soul with an endless light of hope!

Max Freegrant & Donna Marie (NZ)-Turn [Freegrant Music]

 

Another fruitful collaboration sees the light of day in the magical world of clubland. This time two unlikely dance music heroes team up for the first time to create something truly promising. One is Ukraine's "Max Freegrant" is known for a vast number of releases on labels such as "Mandarine Music", "Movement Recordings" and of course his own label "Freegrant Music". The other is New Zealand's "Donna Marie" who has been making several waves of her very own and even boasts a number of releases on labels as big as "Paul Oakenfold's" legendary "Perfecto Records". Their joint venture "Turn" is out now on "Freegrant Music", Max's home label itself.

 Tribal elements, percussion, strange audio textures and elaborate patterns quickly unfold as the pace elevates within. Exotic terrains materialize before our very eyes as we are called hither by jungle creatures, the tinkering of bells and descending water droplets. Between the aural landscapes formulated quite rapidly by the progressive vibes instilled within, we are lured further inwards by the elegant, deep, full, mesmerizing female vocals that jump out at us gracefully. This one progresses quite beautifully as leads kick in amongst the magical melodies and vocals alike. Rhythmical, majestic, exciting and adventurous all wrapped tight in one snug package! Tremendous collaboration by these two uber talents. Each artist utterly shines in his or her element. More like this please!

Miss Rodriguez-Apollo [FSOE Parallels]

 

It is always great to see new talent with a unique approach to the genre emerge into the dance music scene. Relative newcomer "Miss Rodriguez" from Mexico, is without a doubt one of those talented individuals. Mesmerizing her audience with her previous phenomenal tune "Your Eyes" on "FSOE Parallels", the rising star is back once more with her new creation "Apollo". Out now on "FSOE Parallels", owned and operated by none other than Santos Torres, the artist known as "Monoverse".

 "Apollo" grabs your attention from the very first moment as a vibrant bassline paves the way ahead alongside an intriguing melody and a plethora of effects, including plenty of reverse fx and playful echoes. The progression of this one is undeniably surprising as the haunting, distinct female vocal gets tumbled around quite nicely, adding an extra flair to it all, while a dark, somewhat distorted wasp synth realizes its full potential, spreading several amounts of euphoria, building the hype amongst the bittersweet melodies and trance oriented leads that follow. 

Much like the Greek God of music itself "Apollo" is an aural creation plucked from the heavens! Another hit for "Miss Rodriguez"!

Solaris-Waiting For You (Thomas Datt's Heart Activation Remix) [FSOE Recordings]

 

Polish dance music producer and DJ "Thomas Datt", was a definite force in the scene that we all love. Given us two brilliant artist albums plus a vast number of singles and remixes he certainly helped shape the trance genre with his energetic fusion of sound. One day he vanished into thin air, making his departure much like a certain character found in the beloved tale by none other than J.R.R. Tolkien. The years passed and the scene changed and evolved, as it always does, much like a serpent shedding its skin and adorning a new one. 

Lo and behold Thomas made his triumphant reappearance with a new concept, remixing "Dark Matter-Dragon's Tear" which soared like a bird of prey in the dance music charts. His next audio venture led him to another remix opportunity. This one has been dubbed the "Heart Activation Remix" for "Solaris-Waiting For You". What a grand one it is and it is out now on "Future Sound Of Egypt".

 Thomas pulls out all the stops here adding his own elements to this unique tune. A delicate well balanced fusion of magnanimous melodies, chopped vox and female vocal enchanting wails as if plucked from a dream, thus forming images of lush, paradisial lands, untouched and unchanged by human hands, pure and free, blissful as can be. Female vocals appear in the midst of it all, much like an enchantress of old, luring us all along for the melodic outburst and definite ride of a lifetime. Joyous vibes encircle us as our hearts beat louder in sync to each beat. Anske-Miami Heat [Coldharbour Recordings]

 

Our beloved Lithuanian producer is back with a brand new tune just in time for the season. Andrej Anskinas is the artist in question and is mostly known under his artist name "Anske". This artist is surely one to watch for as he knows very well how to continue his slow but steady ascend in the wondrous world of dance music. A regular icon in the "Coldharbour Recordings" family, it is no coincidence that he has been there every step of the way, ever since his first release for the label (the all mighty "Epika E.P" ) which landed him a place on the label. His newest tune has been dubbed "Miami Heat" and most definitely must be an ode to the city itself, summer and the label. 

 From the very beginning a sort of turbulence and rush occurs as a frenetic percussion alongside the chugging basslines shakes things up, much like a train eager to arrive at its final destination. The bottled excitement arises as the journey unfolds, scorching melodies gradually join in alongside buzzing synths, like eager locusts, providing us with a sense of adventure, prolonging the drama and anticipation while the jaw dropping leads ultimately seize control taking us all home. 

Truly a tune that instills elements of positivity, radiance and hope within each and every listener. Another sure hit for Anske!

After a significant amount of absence from the scene, prolific dance music artist "Thomas Datt", marks his imminent return on none other than label on the rise (as I have stated many times before), "Landscapes Music". This is a label heralded by none other than Shyamol Maracci (HORIZONS). Thomas decided it was definitely time to emerge back into the scene, leaving his musical stamp on one of the label's finest releases from the past, the incredible "Dragons Tear" by Danish DJ/Producer "Dark Matter", also known as "Dreamy Dawn". In doing so he brought forth all of his wisdom and experience that he has gained over the years, bringing forward his newly found inner peace and in turn found a way to transmit all of this into the remix you have before you. He dubbed it "Third Eye Activation Remix", a title aptly suited as you will quickly witness.

 We are instantly greeted with magical, mystifying melodies, fresh and vibrant as can be, soul cleansing if you will, as the rest of the elements get to work like a well oiled machine in the background. Acid lines and squelches make their appearance leaving an Earthly attribute as to not get carried away swiftly into the heavenly atmosphere that begins to form. Melodies loaded with an inner calmness follow as images of warm delicate sunlight pierce a quiet, sleepy forest bringing forth a sort of radiance and splendor to the landscape itself. The cheerful leads follow suit enhancing the atmosphere further adding an extra dosage of joy and an emotional "happy to be alive" element that really brings this tune to new heights.
