JES-What Will Be [Intonenation Axiom]

 

If you are somehow unfamiliar with an artist that goes by the name of "JES" than by all means stop what you are doing and start searching. Jes Brieden has been  at the forefront of the scene for decades and probably most easily recognized for her involvement and participation in the "Motorcycle" project with legendary dance music duo "Gabriel & Dresden" which gave us all the timeless anthem "As The Rush Comes". It is always so rewarding to witness her continuing to enrich our world after all these years, time and time again with her fresh ideas and incredible music. It is no small wonder that I am stoked to see yet another release by "JES" out and about. Her latest tune is called "What Will Be" and it is without the shred of a doubt one of the most beautiful songs that you will hear this season. 

 A scisscory percussion, aural vocal snippets, a throbbing bassline and a lush, ethereal melody set the pace for "JES" to take to the stage and do what she was made to do, enthrall our senses and captivate our hearts with her breathtaking vocal performance, sending a sudden chill down our spines. Painting eloquent landscapes in our minds, heavy storm clouds gather dark and menacing, while her voice transcends miles and connects with us all who may have treaded down those same familiar paths. The storm begins its wrath and "JES" in return unleashes a downpour of emotions, an ultimate acceptance of all that has passed, much like the rain that falls heavily downward, refreshing and cleansing the earth. The track's release arrives and delivers a torrent of semi-distorted leads and moving melodies that free us from our ongoing anguish! 

 This is a track that will surely win the hearts of many! "JES" has done it again! A tune that needs to be in your life!

JES & Space Motion-Universe [Exit Soundscape]

 

There have been loads of exquisite tunes out over the summer months. Each track added an extra amount of heat to further spice up our summer. Autumn may be here officially but our mind remains in summer mood as hot releases keep coming our way! 

 One of the coolest and most exciting collaborations I have come across recently is the stellar "Universe" by Grammy nominated singer/songwriter and DJ Jes Brieden or "JES" as she is widely known by and one of the hottest emerging talents of the last years, Atila Tot or "Space Motion" as he has become known in the scene. These two surely know their craft well and it is no small wonder why this release will go on to be played out by the who's who of clubland. Out now on "Exit Soundscape" this one will have you skyrocketing to the heavens above with just one listen.

 We are eagerly welcomed within by pounding basslines, a complementary thriving percussion and most intriguing melodies. Whooshes and bangs plus female vocal exhales create a vibrant yet hazy atmosphere full of mystery and excitement. JES's distinct voice guides us along, enthralling and ecstatic as can be. The first mild break arrives and she utterly shines within, pouring all the essence of her soul into her rich vocal performance amidst cosmic melodies and turbulent synths. A chopped vox serenade of the highest measure arises keeping up with the spirit and cosmic energy of the track. The second break makes its appearance and she conquers our hearts anew, moving mind over matter, as the distinct chorus carries on like fuel, igniting an array of semi distorted synths and full on euphoric leads that burn everything in their path like wildfire with their might and splendor. 

 "JES" and "Space Motion" have created a monster of a tune! Make it yours!
